Partners of Parks provides fiscal sponsorship to various "Friends of" Park groups, neighborhood groups, and special community event groups that hold activities in parks.

As a fiscal sponsor, POP supports community groups in seeking grants and soliciting tax-deductible donations under our 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status. Since most grant-makers fund nonprofits and not individuals, fiscal sponsorship helps groups raise money without having to go through the complicated process of starting their nonprofit.

POP staff also assist with project management, fundraising consultation, certificates of insurance, and navigating the permit process for parks, special events, and health permits.
