Scholarships

Partners of Parks is proud to offer up to $150 per child per year to take any of the classes or camps offered by the Long Beach Parks, Recreation, Marine Department.

From youth sports, arts/music, and more there are endless options to enrich the childhood of every Long Beach Youth.

The Donna Helsley Senior Food Fund

The Donna Helsley Food Fund was formed in partnership with the Long Beach Gray Panthers in May 2020 to provide grocery gift cards to low-income seniors living in affordable senior housing projects and those participating in senior center food programs as well as connecting them to additional food resources.

Almost all of the recipients stated that just $50 enabled them to eat for the last two weeks of the month when they normally ran out of food.

Since COVID, the Donna Helsley Food Fund has been used to support feeding our seniors throughout the holiday season!

Memorial
Dedications

Honor someone you love with a lasting gift. Dedications are placed in public parks with a custom plaque. Partners of Parks offers a variety of memorial options for your loved-one, from the Lone Sailor Navy Veteran program to the Memorial Bench program there is a place to commemorate your loved one in a City of Long Beach Park. Other Memorials include: the Rosie the Riveter Park Memorial, for Women who contributed to the war effort in WWII, Memorial Benches in the City's Marine areas and more!
