The Rosie the Riveter Park and Interpretive Center is designed to provide an educational experience for both teachers and students.
The historical time line, the interpretive signage, the symbols and tiles, compass rose and memorial are excellent sources of information. Next to the interpretive signs are a series of “Do You Know” signs that offer additional facts and figures on this period of history.
The audio guide by cellphone gives visitors an overview of the park and the historical significance of the work done by the women. 1940s era music and radio broadcasts are changed quarterly so that visitors can hear different clips with each visit.
